so, i've cracked my Istanbul Turk ride... and I was thinking about replacing with another Turk, but I thought I'd check out some others to see what's out there. Soo... anyone have any recommendations for a high-end ride that has a dark but unique sound, is loud but still focused (not too washy), isn't too "pingy", and is at least 21"?

also, i went to a store last week to see if they had any istanbuls... and they did, but it was a Istanbul Mehmet (it was only a 19")... my previous was made by Istanbul Agop... they can order me a 21" Istanbul Mehmet Turk, but is it going to sound pretty much the same as my Agop? Does anyone know the history of all of the different Istanbul divisions?
