Kindof. The entire screen isn't refreshed ot 60Hz, but half of it is and the halves are sort of layed over each other. That brings up an interesting point too. In North America we have 30fps (or 29.97 drop frame for color) with our 60Hz Ac power. In Europe their frame rate is 25fps to go with their 50Hz AC power.
