Most of these model guitars have fallen apart over the years. Gibson used very thin cuts, light woods, and a very light finish. you can tell from the pic how poorly the finish has held up over the years. Mine is still alive, The only reason its still around is that a long, long time ago, someone decided to put gut strings on it instead of steel. Most of the l-00's who had steel strings on them their whole life fell apart under the pressure. here is a link to some samples:
