It's weird for a tube amp to have multiple speaker jacks but no selector switch, since if the impedance is going to be lower there is supposed to be a different tap on the transformer.

Sometimes one will be 8 and the other 4, I've seen that before. Or they could be paralleled. It could be a good idea to have a look inside.
