yea, but fireside barely ever promotes; most people don't even know that it still is a venue (i did know, i've been to a handfull of shows since they made it a full-time bowling alley), and no one comes. i never heard that about logan square being a bottom lounge replacement; i just knew that beat kitchen took over the majority of the bookings that would have gone to both it and fireside. the point still remains that there aren't many small places for
all-ages shows in the city; and the way metro books, we'll be lucky that anyone that isn't a buzz band plays to an audiance under 18 years old. the youth keep music vital, we have to cater to them more than we do now.
