yeah! the Bozouki is great it originated in Greece but in modern times it's typically used in Celtic or Eastern European music. The Irish style bozouki is a bit more refined and better suited for classical tunings and what not.

Should sound close to a mandolin. I really dig it I hear it in Incredible String Band recordings for starters a lot or Fairport Convention, stuff of that nature...

woops forgot to add if you've heard of Aphrodite's Child (Vangelis early psych band) they used Bozouki, the Irish style surpringly enough (they're a Greek band by origin which is the thing), a lot in the 666 album which is awesome by the way.
