I can vouch for black lion as far as the guy who runs it knows his sh#%. I still haven't had the time to send in my 828's but I feel the time approaching. According to some of the reviews I've read he can fix them up so that they can run with the Apogees and Benchmarks. I can't wait until I've got that kind of quality.
One of the things I found really interesting is that they don't really do much to the digital components on the interface mods. The clock is pretty much the only digital piece they'll switch out. They really just replace the analog bits.
