Thanks for the answer. I haven't used Massive yet although I'm sure it's great... I'm really heavily stunned by Reaktor, and at the moment I'm putting most of my other plug-ins away, in favour of home-built Reaktor sounds vs my Moog Voyager. It was Reaktor that prompted my post: I just feel that a product as weird and abstract as Reaktor, marketed by a corporation as organised as Native, is a great thing. Also (and this might be something to do with my age) having Reaktor makes me feel like I don't need to upgrade or buy any more software: I can carry on learning to build for months and years, and all the time I'll be making sounds of my own.
