That's kinda awesome that the kid destroyed it, not that Dirnt is suing him. Now that's f-ing lame. Dirnt could have any bass he wanted. And if it was irreplaceable, then don't let some kid in the audience play it!
I saw them years ago and they asked kids to come on stage and play. I thought it was great at the time, I had never seen anyone do that. I mean, I've heard the story about Keith Moon passing out on horse tranqs and a fan stepping in for the rest of the set. But not a band finding replacement members in the audience purposefully.
What do you think about Dirnt suing that kid? What about fans coming on stage and playing? Should that kid be blamed for freaking out?
