I saw them years ago and they asked kids to come on stage and play. I thought it was great at the time, I had never seen anyone do that. I mean, I've heard the story about Keith Moon passing out on horse tranqs and a fan stepping in for the rest of the set. But not a band finding replacement members in the audience purposefully.

What do you think about Dirnt suing that kid? What about fans coming on stage and playing? Should that kid be blamed for freaking out?

Yea, my friend Bob (the guy that showed me how to play a bit) was brought up on stage for their 97 tour, and rocked Operation Ivy's Knowledge with them. He was the envy of our entire High school the next day. According to Green Day, he was the best person that they pulled up on the entire tour; Bob WAS an amazing guitarist; one of the best and youngest I've ever seen.
