It's got a lot of good info, but many of you may have already learned most of this from experience.
Still a nice reference occasionally and an interesting read. He's concise with the theory and minimal acoustics. (Hard to go too far into acoustics without PDE's).

I thought that book was great! A huge tome, indeed. The Tape Op book is also pretty fun; worth the purchase if you are an old-school 4-tracker, like me. Great interviews, and a lot of good tips and tricks.
