The old bolt ratio is 2:3:5. However, a lot of people say this method is outdated now and if you want to get reeeeally technical about it then use a computer algorithm. Also some devices now include a room listening mic that will use algorithms like these to help you figure it out... the actual effectiveness of these devices is disputed, but I personally think some of them do a pretty good job.
