I'm trying to find a soundhole pickup for my 12-string that sounds good on stage AND doesn't buzz when I use it in a pinch recording. Right now when I record, I have to turn off the computer monitor to avoid noise. Sometimes it's just too noisy for using mics. I'm using a Fishman Neo D. Anyone have some good advice?

i really like my George L acoustic pickup, solid contruction, super hefty cable, no buzz or hum, black in color, looks cool, sounds real nice live at open mics and recording too. owned it for 6 years, no probs, quite a workhorse...

I use the LR Baggs Dual Source (its a saddle pickup and a condenser mic) it also contains a mini mixer to mix the two signals to the output. The saddle pickup is great by itself, and then you can add in a little condenser to fill it up. Sounds great going direct for recording. But if you add too much mike it becomes really bassy/boomy. And you have to be careful with the mic during live shows b/c it will feedback easily. Anyone have this or a similar setup? Anyone know any other pickup options with condenser mics? I am looking for a good EQ setting for my 6 string acoustic recordings. I guess I could look into the LR Baggs acoustic DI, but am wondering how that would sound on recording. i want it to sit right in my mix and I can "set it and forget it" .
