whose the biggest product wh0re? man every trade magazine you see like Mix, EMusician, SoS, you see more BT in said magazines than the crappy "Subscribe for Issues" inserts. Hancock likewise you see endorsing crap left and right and at every trade show. Is there any incentive for those two to be doing that, other than money of course. BT sucks that's a given but Hancock's what's his excuse?...
Just been noticing that lately. ::end rant:: |

hell Dimebag Darrell is doing more of the devil's work after death than before it with all his Tupac-like endorsements.

What is it that makes it unacceptable to us? What about it makes selling out or sponsorships so negative? I think it takes away from the artist's credibilty, but I am not sure why. Reason for my questioning is, in Japan it isn't so looked down upon... actually I think it's a pretty heavy part of the entertainment industry over there.

I believe the annoyance of it all makes it questionable. BT case in point you see him endorse gear you really know he hardly uses or would just use for a photo shoot. It gives the impression that most companies are too lazy to look for some obvious talent worth something and an actual enduser for that item. If you see BT endorsing Bias PEAK LE it's like pandering to the lowest common denominator for a sale on both parts. It's not a big deal for a artist like him to be flagrantly disengenous in all those ads but it's patently obvious to most people outside of an ad agency that's the case. I just wished I didn't have to see his metrosexual blonde streaked hair near every issue of EMusic I get.
Ah well, better yet let invent BT the drinking game. Take a swig everytime he appears in an ad, photo op, etc. |

If Ryan Seacrest ever gets too big for his gig, BT would make a great replacement. The average "American Idol" fan wouldn't notice the difference! "BT Seacrest OUT!" |
