Default Touch & Go 25th video recap

Some highlights (I could only go on Saturday, but, whoa.)

The impeccable SG work of the Didjits Rick Sims on Goodbye Mr. Policeman

The Touch & Go philosophy...real reasons to be proud to live in Chicago.

Brought to you by Smirnoff and Viagra: the rippling strat tone of John Haggerty and Pegboy

I waited four presidential administrations to see Negative Approach...they had a show booked in Chicago at Club COD when I was in high school...then they broke up. Then this happened.

Big Black rises from the dead to drop Racer X

Scratch Acid tearing up She Said

Great great times

i HIGHLY doubt there was no hipster attitude in the reckless tent.

well, i was only in there about 10 seconds at the end of the day while almost everything (and everyone) was gone........but i'm POSITIVE it was alive and well, festering among the white-belted angular-haircut tattooed folk during most of the weekend. a real downside though besides the hipster factor, was the meathead contingent that was drunker and stupider than a crowd of hick korn fans at a tractor pull. i hadn't counted on so many of them (black hoodie, shaved head, bad attitude) to be there; but i guess david yow brings out the crazies.

Nice clips. I think I can see the back of my head at Scratch Acid. The sound is nice on those clips.
Did you get any video of Uzeda? They were AMAZING

oh, i forgot to add that the pit for negative approach was fantastic......but i'm too old to get in and i was wearing my good shoes (otherwise i would have went in; i have insurance for a reason!). there was even some guy during killdozer that was dragged off by the cops for causing trouble. he was huge, drunk, and could have really hurt somebody.

Did you see the Japanese guy dressed like Tarzan dancing up a storm and beating up a garbage can? Security was watching him too- He was almost naked at one point.

I wish I got those videos. I just youtubed my way to them. Didn't have my Palm treo yet to shoot anything. There are plenty other T&G clips, but I filtered for sound quality. There's one of Scratch Acid where the shooter is two yards away from David Sims' SVT and let's just say the poor condensor in the camera was lucky to be passing signal after a couple of minutes of that.

Didn't see that, but I did see the guy who blew up three-foot inflatable c*ck-n-balls and sent it aloft during Killdozer's set. The guy had a theremin tattoo on the back of his leg.

As festive as that was, it didn't bounce around out there too long.

It's like I always say; it starts wth the theremin tattoo, then leads right to the inflatable genitalia.
