Default More on aspirin and hearing loss

Everything is toxic in high enough doses. I wonder how much aspirin you have to gobble before you cause damage?

BTW, my father in law is a cardiologist, and he says it takes very high doses of aspirin to damage your hearing. FWIW. I'm glad I now know that the potential is there, even if it's unlikely ever to occur.

I thought it was spelled "yay-o," you know, like a little of the yay, the woohoo. Honestly, I never touched the stuff myself.

By the way, I did a medical study one time where I had to take abnormally high doses of ibuprofen drug and listen to music at160dB for two weeks straight. I'm fine.

Yes, large doses to DAMAGE hearing, but only small doses to make your ears ring
