They were lost for like six months but I found them this morning!

it was a nightclub in chicago that a lot of people died in.

I am pretty sure the E2s (just like ipods) are magical and have special cloaking powers, that would explain the mysterious disappearance and reappearance... hehe

They were in one of those yellow plastic bags from Tower tangled up with my battery charger. They were camouflaged!
I think they're broken now too. Looks like I have to cut the end off and put a new plug on there. I've never had any luck at all soldering these little headphone wires. Are there any secrets to soldering tiny cables?

i always get upset at how many headphone companies know that the 1/8" end where the cable meets the plug is the part that breaks easiest; yet they don't bother to re-enforce that part? i guess it's yet another example of planned obsolescence.

yea i hate that too! and like here's another example of that:

i read a review on this product in the latest cnet new products magazine... they ship with adult ear buds! genius move, disney!!! market a product for kids, and dont get it right...

Oh man, i looked into soldering an end like that before, freakin impossible. I hate to say it but you may have to get a new set. See if shure can send you a new set, tell them the connector is shi**y, couldnt hurt to ask.
