it's sad that people are so concerned with terrorism (mostly because of the media-induced panic of "it could happen to you" type stories) that people's music choices are suspect. but it's "for your protection," remember.

I guess you can't get the Led out in the UK anymore without being branded a terrorist (xcept those crappy Led Zeppelin Unplugged sessions which you should be brought up to a tribunal for listening to). did anyone else notice what that guy played? Procol Harum, Beatles, Zep and Clash if the terrorists are wrong I dont want to be right...

Pathetic. Completely pathetic. I understand watching for suspicious activity but choice of music making you a suspected terrorist? Come on! For the amount of terrorism that goes on in the world, we have been fortunate in the US. Living under this kind of paranoia is crazy. You cannot control random acts of violence. Persecuting other humans for their taste in entertainment is insane.
Come on now. I can think of hundreds of bands that are more criminal to listen to.

I listen to The Clash, and Led Zeppelin. ...Wait a minute. I must be a terrorist! I never would have thought I was in league with Al-Qaeda! Oh no!

Listening to the Clash just makes me angry that I'm listening to the Clash.

1) The Daily Mail ranks somewhere between the National Enquirer and New York Post on a scale of newspaper credibility...
2) If Zep means terrorism, and Zep music appears on Cadillac SUV commercials, the resulting conclusion is obvious: Cadillac SUV drivers are terrorists and each one should be seized and hauled off to Pakistani interrogation centers. -r |
