back in the day (pre ebay) people used to clean out their unwanted gear closets and just gave things to people; or leave it on the side of the road next to the garbage cans! what is the coolest thing you have gotten for free (or nearly, like earned by cheap labor)?

Wow we got lucky when we moved into our current house. It was listed on craigslist as "Band House". We happened to be the first ones to reply to the listing so we got it. They left all sorts of stuff there. An old Korg bass multi efx pedal, a brand new 2-button Fender footswtich, random cables that work, a keyboard stand, a violin with 2 broken stings and a case, four Galaxy audio Hot Spot monitors, a 90s tweed Fender Blues Deluxe missing one power tube... other random goodness too.
Thx for the band house Pramod |
