Another potential solution for extra security is to see about getting an armored van for the tour. I am not sure if those would be easy to find, but they have to be available for sale somewhere. I came real close to buying an old ambulance from a city auction. That would be fun to tour in. I got to look around in it before it sold and thought, this would be a great tour machine. There are so many compartments inside and out. They all locked up with keys and you still get the large space in the center that can fit a few bodies, oh I mean amps and stuff. However, you might have junkies breaking in to find drugs, than to actually find all your gear, that would suck. But think of pulling up to the gig with all the lights flashing, parking where ever you like, who's going to mess with you, it's an ambulance. People will pull off to the side of the road just to let you get to your next gig. How cool is that!!!
