I use a couch as a baffle. You could also try cheating by pointing he overheads a littleamay from the cabs.

Well, fortunately, my Rivera has power switching options that let me take it all the way down to 12.5 watts in triode mode. The full 100 watts is a little ridiculous for our rehearsal room, really. I think that for the purposes of recording, I should be able to get good tones from the amp at lower volumes.

or you could buy one of those epiphone valve jr heads for recording....they can power 4x12s! either that or an attenuator.
