Default Laney TF300

Well I've decided against the Valveking for something even cheaper, I found one of the TF300's on ebay for a good price, it's a hybrid though and not full tube. How well do hybrids take pedals? It's just I have heard solid state amps arn't real good with them but I can't give an opinion as my effects experiance has been all with Solid State practice amps. At the moment the only pedal I have is a Big Muff but I might be getting a wah soon.
