Has anyone tried the new Eventide TimeFactor Delay Pedal? I know Eventide makes some nice effects units, but I was wondering how it stacked up against the competition? Is it worth the price?

That thing is super super super ultra super mega sweet.
Granted, as soon as they slapped "Eventide" on it, that made the price go up to like $400 or whatever they're selling it for. They took some of the same algorhythms that were in the 2290 and put that in a rock solid pedal (will eat a Line6 DL-4) along with the ability to save 27 presets, control EVERYTHING via MIDI, sync up to a midi clock or use the pedal as your clock sync and it sounds so completely rad. And it's got a 12 second looper on it. I want it. |

Thanks for the head's up. I haven't seen any in stores yet try it for myself. I'm hoping that will be remedied soon. Anyways, I heard that there is a USB port in back to allow it to download future updates from Eventide; but it won't function as an interface. Still, very cool. |

Actually the 2290 is a TC Electronic product. This takes it's effects from the Eventide H3000 and Guitar4000 processors. I just received one of these little boxes. It is just an amazing piece of gear. Everything I've wanted in a delay. I do wish the delay would trail off when switching patches. Maybe this could be updated in the future. Best of luck!
