What's a good choice on a guitar with humbucker pickups that can produce those killer Blink 182 palm muting tones? What's the best cheap model, and what's the best model regardless of price? What's the key to getting that sound? Nothing muddy, gotta be tight. Think green day too.

Palm muting sounds.... I'd go with a pretty highoutput humbucker like:
EMG 81 or 85's Seymour Duncan Invader Seymour Duncan Dimebucker Gibson Burstbucker Pro etc. |

Some of the best chunk I've gotten is with Carvin M22's. The George Lynch Screamin' Demon will also give you some thrash.

Get an Epiphone and replace the stock pickups. The DiMarzio "Fred" pickup is very tight sounding.

I never heard em', but I've read that the Mastertone SPA is the best pickup ever made for palm muting and other heavey styles. SPA stands for Supa Phat A__.

My Gibson Burstbucker Pros with Alnico Vs are pretty sweet for palm muting as well.

My Hamer special has single coils with plenty o'chunk. They're the wide, soap-bar type and output is ridiculously hot. I dig.
