I would have either a Marshall JTM, Fender Twin or Vox AC30 for a clean....and then definately a 70's Marshall JMP 50watt 2x12 Combo for a lead gain or heavier overdrive...and then a MusicMan 212HD Combo for a cleaner crunch overdrive...if not that...then another AC30 and parallel the inputs for that wonderful Vox crunch. Or just have all of those connected. Connect everything with ABY pedals..preferrably the Framptone models.

Actually, I don't know what my set-up would be. Any suggestions?
I have a Fender Roc Pro 100. It's a SolidState amp. A Marshall 4x12 cab. I use a GT-6 for all of my FXs. I also use a SansAmp GT-2 for my distortion, much warmer than the GT-6 distortions. I think I need a super clean amp and let my FX do the rest.... Any thoughts? |
