Default Bugera Speakers

Has anybody heard anything about these. I heard Behringer was switching to these in all of there BG412 cabinets instead of Jensen. Are they at all comparable?

Hmm. Googled "Bugera" and the only result other than lots of Behringer product descriptions was a soccer player...

In-house ULTRABRAND to replace costlier Jensen?

Sounds like that is the case. The price of the cabinet that still had the Jensens (BG412S) costed about $60 more. I'm not sure if it was like that before though.

Im pretty sure those are Jensen speakers. Bugera is like their "flagship" speakers. Probably those flagship speakers are taken from those ghetto blasters Suge Knight has on his Escalade before he shot Tupac.

That is really suprising. Where did you get that info? I've been looking around the web and can't find any solid info.

*prepares for bows and arrows*

I have a Behringer amp with Bugera speakers on it and they have a big tag that says Jensen Inc on them.

*shameful*

So what do you think?

I recently saw a Behringer 8 10 cab in a local store on clearance for $315. I know this is a lower end cab, but that is really cheap for a new 8 10! My first concern is that the aluminum drivers will not be able to handle very good bottom end (I had a bad experience with a hartke 15" a few years ago. I use an Ampeg svt-4 pro, and I have a good eminence kapp 15 I could use as a sub to suppliment the behringer.

I am going to go try it out this week, but I would like some input if anyone has some.

Thanks
