Yea,
Marr used a lot of different tunings...Most of his tunes are in Eb...but he did use a capo a lot on the 3rd fret actually...like "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out". As far as Meat is Murder goes...I agree. Headmaster's Ritual and Well I Wonder are my fav's on the record...and I feel Headmaster's Ritual is probably my fav tune of theirs...which is rough to say...I know way too much Smiths trivia if we were to start a Smiths gear post haha.

the only other tuning I use is Hawaiian tuning to play some old Bee Gees psychedelic-era songs.

my fave, or one of my favorite smiths tunes from that album is "that joke isn't funny anymore". i'd say overall though, "half a person" is their best song.
