My Rivera M100 is tits up at the moment due to a faulty pot. I'd change it myself, but the pots in this particular amp are board-mounted rather than chassis-mounted, and I don't want to mess around with that. Does anybody know of anybody good and not super expensive?

I'd risk it if it is only a bad pot. I've done that, as well as other part replacements on printed boards and it's worked.

I dunno man, I don't wanna run the risk of accidentally getting the board too hot and frying it. If it were chassis-mounted I'd do it in a second, but I'd just rather get this done professionally.

I've had Specimen fix a few amps and a guitar for me and they've always done great work fast and at a reasonable price. They moved a few miles west of Ashland near Lake st.

Thanks Bellringer--I dropped my amp off there this morning. Looks like an impressive shop. They won't be able to have it done for a while because the guy who does that kind of work is on vacation, but fortunately I'm in no hurry. I actually live on the same street, just about 14 blocks north, so I was able to take the bus there.
