My fav's have been:

Danelectro PB&J (little blue pedal..it has a great lowpass filter-esque delay to it)
Boss DM-2 (analog Dly)
Boss DD6
MXR OMNI (a multieffects unit...has a great analog delay the seperate pedal is great too!)
Ibanez AD-9 (analog Dly)
Maestro Echoplex (tape)
Roland Space Echo 202 or 303 (tape)

It shouldn't. I had mine for about 9 years and it has been dropped several times, beer spilled all over it, etc.

Cool

I just read some killer reviews on the MF104Z Moogerfooger Analog Delay Pedal and the Maxon AD999 Analog Delay Pedal. They're both pretty pricey though.

Default GT-6

Right now I just use the delay off of my GT-6. I use to have a Boss DD-3. I liked it.

Our other guitarist uses the delay off a Line 6 head and a Boss DD-3 at time.

the bass player for my band uses the DD20 and it sounds really great, a little bit on the digital side but it sounds totally sweet for walls of drone.

i personally like the memory man for guitar but the line6 DL4 is good for all around fun. like recording, guitar, bass, vocals whatever. so many options, so little time.

I just recently picked up the Danelectro Reel Echo. I am pretty impressed with it. It has a lot of cool features including the 'sound on sound' option like the old tape echo machines. Still trying to get used to it. The only thing i don't dig is when you sweep the time slider, it doesn't pitch shift. I still prefer the PB&J over it haha.
