Default Screen Printing on Guitars

Does anyone know of any place online or physical where you can get your guitar screen printed on with graphics? If not can I just put paint to guitar and have it all come out modestly fine.

I don't know about screen printing the whole guitar, but plenty of places will do that with pickguards. Google "Custom Pickguards".

thanks for the info. I guess I shoulda clarified the post. What I want to know would be if there is a place where they can take a graphic design you choose and paint that on the body of your guitar. It would be a total sand and refinish job.

Welcome to the forum Uma.

Screen printing is pretty easy. I've never made a frame but I have done a lot of the actual printing. I think the only pitfall would be getting the right paint that would adhere to the pickgaurd and/or the wood of the guitar without damaging the screen.

that's what I'm interested in. If it's not too terribly expensive I wish I could transform one of my very generic looking strats into a hip looking psychedelic art machine like this one:

Im just getting tired of the black on black, body-to-pickguard action going on with it right now.

You know another option is spray painting with stencils. very cheap and can have great results. Make sure to mask the electronics though.

that's what I might try out in the end. Maybe I'll get some of those paints that adhere to plastic, it could produce a cooler more even result I imagine. Thanks dagosto!
