Default Wasabi

What is the deal with these Danelectro Wasabi effects? I can find stores that sell them but no info on the Danelectro site. Actually their site is pretty bad. One of the pedals i saw had a pickup switch on it for single/off/hum. I was curious about that. It is a variable input impedance?

I can definitely see the utility of having a switch to vary gain for single coils and humbuckers (I hate having to adjust gain every time I switch to a guitar with a different output level), but what does the 'off' setting do, I wonder?

I've heard good things about them, but not a lot of details.

a guy in my practice space has one of the wasabi delays. i love the fact that the tap tempo feature blinks. it's a totally simple idea, but completely helps to look down and see what's going on down there. the footswitches leave a little to be desired, but i like them overall.
