Default Electro-Harmonix Nano and Micro pedals

There are random pics of them around the web but they seem pretty cool. Just smaller version of their big pedals they sell at higher prices. I wonder if they plan on releasing them anytime soon? Anyone else heard anything about them?

We saw them at NAMM but I don't think the Q-tron was there.

You can see some of them in this vid:

I think half are coming out this month, and the other half in October and November. Something like that. I'm intrigued.

so they are exactly the same? just scaled down? do they have a memory man version? those things are huge! they take up a lot of real estate on a pedal board.

I'd heard a rumor about the memoryman being discontinued recently. I sent an inquiring email to EH and am awaiting a reply. I'd love a micro version. I'd love a nano Frequency Analyzer too so I could get my DEVO on.

i have heard that too; but i still see it for sale on a bunch of websites.......possibly word hasn't gotten out. maybe something better is in the works? i doubt it though. if it did get discontinued, it would be a shame; it's such a popular and cool pedal.

the memory man is cancelled. definetly. forever.

the bucket brigade chip that they use in it, which is the key element to the sound of that pedal has either been discontinued or they ran out of it or something. So, no more EHX delay. Ever.

I just got a reply from EH about this, which gives them an A for email support. It said "We have about 1000 or more pieces left and once we are out of it we
will cease production unless we can find a replacement for the delay chip." So, maybe they'll replace it, then it won't sound the same, etc.

The funny thing to me is I asked the "is there any plan to make more memorymans?" hah

well that is too bad; it will surely drive up the price on it because it's "vintage" equipment. that dashes my plans for a mini memoryman pedal. go ebay.

yes and no. the old, good memory mans will jack up in price. the more recent ones (the ones that are being discontinued), don't nearly have the sound of the old ones. they'll go up in price, but if you find an old one, BUY IT NOW. you'll put your kids through college with the damn thing.
