I would say get a Line 6 Spider but then I remember that it has a noise gate that can't be turned off. Fender makes the best practice amps for the money IMO. They bring you at least 3 to 4 times the happiness. |

My picks would either be the older Marshall Park-series amps or some of the newer MG series or the Roland Cubes... hell the Pignose tube amps are great little suckers too.

Well, the Fender Champion 600 is a great choice for a practice amp. They aren't too expensive, and sound amazing when cranked. Changing out the tubes for some better ones will really make it sing.
