Geoff Benge's GUITAR SHOP
At 3551 N Damen Ave in Chicago (phone: 773-919-3697)
No website, but this dude does great repair work in Chicago, reasonable rates, and fast turnaround time.

He used to work for that place on Clark and School and started his own shop. Awesome guy, tell him the guitarist from The Licks sent you!

ps. 3rd coast - I can tell you a horror story about them.

To be honest I have had nothing but good luck with 3rd Coast. My headstock broke on my 335 and they did such a good job repairing the neck you can't even see that there was any previous damage. They even repainted the whole neck and filled in every dent on the neck. I looks like a brand new guitar. They always set up my guitar perfectly too.
