the dan-os aren't completely plastic they do have a pretty sturdy metal base. i still don't get how people break plastic anything unless doing it by extreme force. I've got a cheapy as hell plastic keyboard that I've thrown by mistake, had real heavy equipment fall on *a 300lb organ* and still survive. Unless you're a small baby elephant on a warparth I sincerely doubt the plastic on a Dan-O would crumble under your feet. The part that sucks though are the PCB mounted plastic incased input jacks. However that adds to the flavour of the pedal I say. Another vote for the Dan-O Tuna great tremolo for the price and above as well. |

The Danelectro pedals are cheap and some are fairly good for their price like the following:
Chicken Salad Vivrato Fish And Chips EQ Tuna melt Trem French Toast Octave PB&J Delay The Trem seems to be the best of them all and the EQ is the most popular all their pedals have good sound but they all have cheap jacks... maby they can be swapped out for another type...allelectronics.com has a few. the DanElectro Rocky Roads is good as well but needs a simple solder mod to lower the gain...
