I'm getting an electric guitar soon, after practicing on my stepdad's lame acoustic. However, I'm on a budget of around 300-350 dollars. I already have a 25 watt vox amp in my garage, and I'm stuck between a few guitars. If anyone has advice that would be extremely helpful.
I'm stuck between An Epiphone Les Paul 100 An Epiphone G-310 SG An Ibanez ARX100CA Thank you in advance for any advice you may have. |

The LP100 and the G-310 are the same thing in sound, the diference is the shape of the body. For the shape i prefer the epiphones, but for quality the ibanez have better construction, is Set-neck, in other words, the neck is glued (i don't know the correct word) to the body. I recomend the Ibanez.

I meant the majority of Ibanez guitars, IE. the RG series, etc. I know that one has a set neck, I played it in the store the same day he did xD
Why I said most Ibanez, (Or implied it anyway) is because you said: "but for quality the ibanez have better construction, is Set-neck, in other words, the neck is glued (i don't know the correct word) to the body. I recomend the Ibanez." Implying most were set neck. Also, any LP has a set neck x) |

That Ibanez guitar looks real cool compared to the Epis. If you're in that price range I would believe the Ibanez would be the better playing one and have a more distinct sound, the looks are tight as well. However, if you get good or get some money gigging I would suggest a inexpensive Gibson LP or SG-style guitar, those would be considerably better than the Ibanez guitar. That Ibanez looks like it plays fast and seems the pickups give a nice sustained sound.

Ibanez LP? Wtf lol
I wasn't aware Ibanez made LP knockoffs, I thought only Gibson made them, and their sub company Epi made the knockoff ones. (Even though IMHO the Epi's play fine. |
