You know who you are. You walk around all the local clubs in your "I am a Rock God uniform". You spend an hour putting 30 dollar hair product on your head just to get that "I never wash my hair and I just got out of bed look. You want to look dirty, but amazingly, you smell of some trendy man perfume and you have no pimples.
You speak loudly about your upcoming gigs and who you know and what labels, A&R reps, local reviewers and club owners think you are the next big thing. Everyone around you is annoyed as you rave on about yourself at a volume that competes with the band that most of the people around you spent $12 to hear. Only to have their listening experience ruined by your BIG FAT EGO. You have a small entourage that laughs at your unfunny jokes and plays along as you make fun of other people who aren't as cool as you.
Oh yea, your parents paid for all your gear and pay for your apartment while you pretend to be a starving artist. You are only nice to people who stroke your ego or who might be able to do something for you. AND your Ironic Tiffany Mall Tour T-shirt is getting old. You can only ride on your look for so long.
Seriously, has anybody run into this guy? You are trying to enjoy a show and they are there to be seen and grate on your nerves! Maybe I'm crazy. C'mon, anyone? Maybe I'm not describing him/them well enough. Maybe I'm coming off wrong (I'm just jealous).

hahahahahah Kill Hannah ( 5 years ) They better have paid better than they play. I've met a few of these types, and to their defense if they are playing on the night, every musician has that nagging in the back of their brain, "these people are paying to see us". Most ignore this and continue to act human, but as I said I've met a few scummy ass ego freaks that thank you for coming, dont look at you, and don't notice that u were making fun of them ( and their wanky substandard crap) the whole show. I probably shouldn't talk and this is only MO, but I've seen, meet, and never liked these guys.
