This movie is boring and a waste of time and money. If you ever wanted to see a movie about people who are bored sitting around waiting for something to happen, then this is the movie for you. yawn...

The movie plays 90's music throughout... I thought it was oxymoronic that they played a public enemy song. "Something In The Way" by Nirvana also finds its way into the movie, but the song doesn't match the context of the scene: Guys in the military.

Bill Hick is still right: "Anyone dumb enough to want to be in the military should be allowed in it. That should be the only requirement."

Watching a movie based on this folly doesn't prove entertaining all the time.

If the producers weren't going to put any military action into a movie about the military, they should have at least given us a plot to follow.

Don't see it!

But Do buy all of Bill Hicks CD's and DVD's. The man was a comic prophet and it's a shame he's not around today to comment on modern society. I miss having him around.

I have most of his CD's. Rant In E-Minor, Arizona Bay, Dangerous, etc..etc.. I did see the Dangerous VHS: It was nice to actually see him perform his comedy, which took the jokes to the next level. I thought that there was a new DVD of material out there...but I haven't seen it yet.

I was introduced to Bill Hicks in highschool, later via Tool's Anemia ...but I also noticed that Radiohead dedicated The Bends to his honor, in the linear notes of that album.

Does the album have non-linear notes as well?

Yes, both tool and radiohead are completely LINEAR bands. absolutely straightforward! They would never do anything in their music or album art that would be considered NON-LINEAR. Absolutely not! NO WAY!

Liner notes suck, but punning on them is cool. Taking the pun to the next level is PRICELESS!
