Do you want to see bat- s**t crazy ideas like throwing 1 million bomb laced bats at Japanese towns to desimate them, Gestapo style Humongo Sounds Bombs that can cause anyone hearing the LOOUD sounds to die from sound overload, vector cannons, and get this JAPANESE DEATH RAY (an actual one my friends)... this is your WWII special.

whoa totally forgot about this.

LEMME ADD

Holiday Week:
Woke up and saw Two-Lane Blacktop on Sundance Channel I think it was on Dec. 27th - (Quick Synopsis) perhaps one of the best on the road, indie movies ever made... and it stars a young James Taylor and Dennis Wilson. Plus it was made in the 70s.

Week after Holiday which would be this week:
it already passed though it was the Mythbusters/I Shouldn't Be Alive Marathon the Discovery Channel had going this past weekend. A quick cursory glance at the History Channel had you watching their own one hour special called the AntiChrist, the utterly sublime notion of the History Channel doing a special on mythology of the AntiChrist was both ironic and entertaining. Fun fact Teddy Roosevelt and Franklin Roosevelt (some very far relation there) were once considered the anti-christ for some reason.

Funny how we envision the Anti-Christ. Once pictured as the Roosevelts to now where some think it's Bush and others Marilyn Manson! Whatever happened to Rosemary's Baby!

Tivo or PVR of the last week Jan 9th-14th -

The move of My Name is Earl and the Office (US Edition) to Thursday nights. Talk about a coup! Thursday nights on NBC recently have gone down the tubes save for Will and Grace (which i secretly find funny). However the move of real fun and smart comedy to the Thursday line up signals a brand new turn in comedy... hopefully someone can pick up Arrested Development and usher in a new age of the sitcom.

Tivo or PVR of this week:
History Channel's Abraham Lincoln special. Has anyone catched the ads for it? Seriously this guy had it bad, first of all he lost his family at a young age, he was made indentured servant, was abused by his stepfather, lost his first two kids, his first wife left him, second wife had serious issues mentally, had to reconcile the United States etc.. all that was left to occur to him was being kicked in the nuts by a horse or losing a arm in a old cotton gin accident. Truly a great figure in history.

I recently watched a special on the history of beer on the history channel. Society can thank beer for making civilized life possible. I know that has an oxymoronic connontation to it - but it makes for a delicious irony.

i'm just sick of anything on da vinci (the real story of the da vinci code anyone?), jesus, hitler, nostradomus, etc. please, there are tons of interesting people to make an hour special on. that modern marvels show is great; but i must say that mythbusters is amazing!
