Default i got a chicago coyote story too

yea, i was outside detailing my funky dodge 600 turbo convertable on good ole sunnyside ave in chicago a few yrs back, it was about dusk, twilight, right between day and night, and as i am buffing my faux red leather dashboard, i look in the rearview mirror, and i see, what appears to be, a really really fast thin german shepard type dog bounding towards me at lightening speed down the sidewalk a half block down, , deftly silent, not making a sound, running at about, say, mmm, 27 miles an hour, and i turn around to the sidewalk paralelell to where my car is parked, and i am staring right into the eyes of the coyote, and he is looking right at me as he continues running down that sidewalk, silent and fast, effortlessly, it gave me chills, and then a cop car turns the corner behind me, in hot pursuit of the wayward coyote... i was rooting for the coyote hehe a wild sight indeed...

there's a forest preserve near my house with foxes and other wild animals..... a friend's dad swore that durring a run on that forest preserve's bike trail, he saw a wolf. you can't push nature to the outskirts without some trying to get back to territory they used to occupy. i find it odd when i see footage of deer, moose, or bears trapped in peoples houses or yards. animal control is a thankless job in the city.

Thumbs up

YA'LL would be freakin amazed at the wildlife that lives in and around the Chicago area. I have seen hundreds of Racoons, possums, several species of Rabbits and squirels. Several herds of Whitetail Deer, I have seen snapping turtles, box turtles, water and land snakes, a family of beavers, 2 different species of Falcon, and yes a few Coyote's. These in addition to at least 30 some different fish species, show you that even in a urban setting, there's life beyond our miserable humanity.
