Default philosophical question

what is the meaning of a musical life?

i know, it sounds like a free fire zone extremely open ended question, yes! it's kinda like a spin off of the age old question, "what is the meaning of life" hehe...

Man, thats a weird question. I'd say living a life revolving around music, which most of us who post here do.

I believe people who live a Musical Life accept that life is an uncertain journey full of peaks and valleys, ups and downs based on who you are as a creative force.
Most people live a life based on security and more direct financial goals. They accept their occupation and family as their main goals and feel no mental pressure that there is something else missing that they have to do.
A person living a Musical Life knows that levels of success are gambles but success isn't the goal. It's just part of what may happen on the ride of life.
......And if it means eating Ramen sometimes, that's ok!

I think the ultimate musical life would look a little something like this:

I'm pretty sure I would rather eat cardboard than ever ever ever touch ramen noodles.

My pallette is far too distinguished for any of these cheap substitutes for sustenance. I dine only on finest baguettes, cuban cigars, and beluga caviar.

Your sarcasm was duely noted, but can I still come over for dinner?
I also do not like Ramen, I had a run in college where that was my main source of nourishment so I could spend my money on dru...... I mean nice non-frivalous things.
I heard a story where somone ate nothing but Ramen for 6 weeks and died.
