Default Another add-on for my pedal board

not really a mod but another DIY project...

I've been editing all day for the WD7 wah pedal gear review movie and decided to take a break.

I've been meaning to make a cover that goes over the power pack and strip of my pedal board and so I finally made it today.

It's press board covered in loop side velcro to keep the nice black look

That is pretty cool. I remember when I had a pedal board the exposed power strip was always getting in my way or getting stepped on and consequently turned off and whatnot.

is that just for asthetic reasons or does that somehow help your board out? the thing i'd be worried about (8 years of a guitar tech coming out....) would be the fact that if you're playing a show and something gets knocked out, you wouldn't have quick access to fix it. Plus the fact that you're using wall warts and a power strip rather than something that'll get rid of ground loops and get rid of your hum.

No...Not that...Anything but that. I hate the Weeping demon wah with a passion, But it looks great besides that. ( The pedal does have some awesome features, But it sounds like a slurpy straw. Thus, I have named it " The slurpy-straw-wah ". )

Update on the board, I have gotten out the old modified dunlop original wah and have been using it more than the WD7. Its smaller and sounds better now IMO.
a few months back I could not stand the dunlop though......

Anyways with both wahs on you get a nice lead channel effect for solos.

Here's the current layout with new riser (currently in construction)

If I didn't get such a great sound with the two wahs I would sell the WD7 on eBay but for now its staying until I get the sound into the magicstomp.
its too big to keep with everything else on board as well so it will be good to get that out of the way.
