Hey guys, I just wanted to say that I though your stompbox walkthrough for the Barge Concepts BP-1 was one of the best I've seen. Very detailed, well shot, and organized... which not many sites do. And they certainly don't offer 10 minutes of video dedicated to about one stompbox. Just wanted to pass that on.
Side note: Also, I kind of smiled a little when I saw you were using a Peavey Valve King because I was just in my local shop and my guitar teacher from years ago was talking about how much he likes that amp. I'm actually leaning towards the Peavey Classic 30 Head myself, but I digress. Anyway, just wanted to drop a line here and say I thought it was a really well produced segment. Dan |

Gotta say I agree. Nice video. I logged onto the Barge site to check it out and ended up ordering . . . . their looper pedal--ha!
I was looking for a good effects loop and already have fuzz covered with a Big Muff. (I'm sure the BP isn't exactly a Muff--sounds like the BP can do more tones--but it sounded like it's in the same general ballpark and I like the Muff for that particular thing.) Anyway, the Albini videos are great, too. Highly recommended for the lore on the percolator, which I wasn't aware of. |
