Default Native Instruments in Crosstalk 016

Thanks for the honest review of the Native Instruments AudioKontrol - I thought you underplayed the value and quality of the NI VSTs a little, though: remember, Native make Reaktor and Kontakt, which are both astonishing instruments, so I think they deserve a bit of respect for that.

Hi and welcome,

Thanks for the comment. I hope I didn't come off as not repecting the NI plugs. I love the hell out of B4, Massive, and Pro53. The others are cool but I end up not using them that much.

BTW memoid, have you tried Massive? It's finding it's way onto a lot of my synthy projects.

Default NI Plugs

Hi Dan

Thanks for the answer. I haven't used Massive yet although I'm sure it's great... I'm really heavily stunned by Reaktor, and at the moment I'm putting most of my other plug-ins away, in favour of home-built Reaktor sounds vs my Moog Voyager. It was Reaktor that prompted my post: I just feel that a product as weird and abstract as Reaktor, marketed by a corporation as organised as Native, is a great thing. Also (and this might be something to do with my age) having Reaktor makes me feel like I don't need to upgrade or buy any more software: I can carry on learning to build for months and years, and all the time I'll be making sounds of my own. Freedom!

Good luck with the podcast mate, thanks again for the reply.
