What is it with the attitude that the smaller an ipod can get the cooler it is? It's like people upgrade everytime a smaller one comes out.
Myself. I'm waiting for the Ipod Hardcore. This unit will be installed as an ear piercing and will be controlled with a LCD contact lens projection. For advertising purposes, you will have an ipod Hardcore tattoo on your neck. I'm on backorder now. It's gonna be the best Ipod ever!!!!

yea! i'm waiting for the model after the Hardcore series, i think it'll be called the Invisi-Ipod, it will be so small, it will be invisible, and so then you can be cool without having to be seen with it, as opposed to now, as you are only cool if you are seen with an Ipod, ya know? i cant wait for the future!!!

Soon, the ipod will become a personal computer system. Wifi, internal processors, fliptop keyboard, and of course all the accessories needed... extenal superdrive, dock, and of course white ear buds.

I've heard of this kind of idea but applied to cell phones, whereas the phone will basically do everything for you. Act even as your credit card.

That is my nightmare because I am always leaving my phone at home. I'll just have to be one of those kids with the cell phone attached to the sleeves of my jacket.

I personally like my IPod's and mp3's I worked on a cruise ship for a few years and there would have been no way for me to take my collection of CD's with me. MP3's provided a solution and I can't tell the differance if I'm listening with average headphones. I will say that dual IPOD looks like it sucks.

i saw that system was in use in europe a few years ago (on a news special, the reporter bought a soda with her phone and used it to pay a vending machine too), they are so far ahead of us in terms of cell phone technology that they had streaming video just as we were getting camera phones. when i went to england (this was before we had hands free technology) i just thought they had a surplus of crazy people walking the streets......everyone was talking to themselves!

First off: iDJ??! really? How do you dj with that? The basic idea of having two sources of input is to be able to create a mix/effect/smooth flow. No tempo adjust? This is the only thing numark has ever upset me with.

Second: Sound quality, I spin records, plus I also spin through Serato Scratch Live. I submit to you that although audiophiles can 'hear' the difference, there is no love lost in my sets by spinning an mp3 source.

And it's not massacre. If you're funky, you're funky. There's bad electronic music too, just like all dem other genres.

Well, many people won't be able to tell the difference of a decent-quality MP3 over a bad PA system with enough sub wattage to crumble buildings; especially after a few dozen drinks. However, I have gone to some places where the "DJ" is using his Ipod to play the most poorly digitized garbage. It's Irritating to hear the digital compression on something with a lot of cymbals and vocals.
