Default That fog machine

I love breathing chalk. Sometimes, I run my fog machine for a half hour in my living room just to smell the smell.

Thumbs up

Well, it may work in some situations, most times its silly. When you cant see the band you paid money to see because they have a dumbass fog machine, I get angry.

There are few things in the musical world that are worse than singing on a stage full of fog machine smoke, and breathing in mass quantities of the nasty $%!&.

while it can go either way for me, i do admit that most people who use a smoke machine come off as cheesy; others know this and do so intentionally, they deserve a wag of the finger just the same. The same thing can be said of strobe lights, use it in moderation kids.

I refuse to take the stage unless there's fog, lasers, strobes, flashpots and a giant inflatable demon head.

ok, last night's nada surf show at metro........WAAAAAAAAY TOO MUCH FOG! from start to finish, more smoke than a van on the way to a jam band show. otherwise a great concert, and it helped conceal the fact that daniel (the band's bass player and notorious chimmeny) had lit up at a non-smoking venue; supposedly leading to an irate bouncer cussing out their sound guy. so i guess the moral of the story is: no fog, unless you need a nic fix.

If you're gonna use fog, you have to use strobes. The only way this comes off right is if you are trying to cause mass hypnotism or some heavy psychosis. If you are Ministry, Butthole Surfers, Pink Floyd circa.'67, or VU back in the day you get a pass. Almost anyone else better have some serious noise or be held in contempt of planning a lame light show!
