Hi -
I was wondering if my bass amp would get damaged when I ran my synthesizer through it at mid-high to high volume. I have a Roland SH-201 synthesizer and Gallien-Krueger 400RB head and SBX410 cab. Thanks! - Eric |

Your bass amp should be able to deal with most of what the Roland Synth will put out. I'd suggest experimenting with the sounds at a lower volume for Sub bass frequencies. This way you won't set yourself up for any blown speakers! You can always keep a log of sounds that have abusive lows.

is there anything that you would recommend not doing/playing?
like no super low/high notes? thanks again! |

it's more of a volume thing. If your amp is on 11 dont go playing any screeching highs. If you're in a mid volume range you should be ok. It's playing a bass through your keyboard amp that you should avoid the extreme lows on
so you're goin the right way

I would also recommend using the -10dB pad on the input. Keyboards put out a hotter signal than basses. Sometimes it works out nicely to overdrive your inputs, but its technically not meant to be done and GK's love to break.
