Don Buchla spent a lot of time generating "uncertainty modules". I think its a pretty cool concept. The math is pretty cool too.

Ha, Yeah that's great. When I first saw synthesizers.com I saw that breathalizer module and actually thought it was for real.
I'm more interesed in real modules though. |

I tried to put some or any of the Serge modular modules up here can't seem to find good specific pics. The modules on a Serge were really weird and out there as well. If memory serves me correct, Buchla didn't he and Serge Tchereprin (sp?) invent this system sorta like an alternative to the Arp. I could be completely wrong about this. It did have an Esoteric Audio module... that's pretty weird and the synthesis method itself was completely different to ADSR-based systems.
