Default Steinberg MR 816 question

Hi,

Steinberg is planning to release a new module. The MR 816 csx in Q3. They say it has a DSP Processor. I was wundering if this thing could become something like the Powercore from TC Electronic. Is Steinberg going to step in their footsteps. I think if they do, it could become interesting for us musicians. Does anyone know whether there are rumoers that they gone release dedicated plugins that take advantage of this DSP processing power. They already seem to have a reverb plugin for it.

I think to be interesting the module should sell around 400 - 550 EURO, because it should be able to compeed with the Presonus Studio firewire audio interface. No one buy an awfull lot more just because it Steinberg made it.

As for their motorised fader controller CC121, this one should be around 200 - 350 EURO to compeed with the Presonus Faderport or with Frontier Design Alphatrack.
