Default annoying parameter value skips at patch changes

hey

i owned a roland sh201 before, traded it for a yamaha sy77, but now my heart is graving a (virtual) analog synth again (thinking about a k-station)

i can remember from my sh 201, that when i changed patch, and the cutoff knob was fully open for instance, but basically any settings, and i turned the knob after swapping patch, that the cutoff kind of jumped from the savd value to the vallue set by the knob.

that's why i always thought endless knobs would be very useful.

now there's one thing that startles me: the k-station has three oscillators, but all of them share the knobs for detune, portamento, pitching by halftone and some more.

now, if that jumping of parametervalues doesn't only occur when changing patch, but even WHILE editing ONE patch.. isn't that annoying?

never read about it in any reviews... somebody Must have noticed that..

makes me wonder if i got something wrong here.
